HILLINGDON  - prediction and result Conservative hold

The Conservatives hold 46 seats to Labour’s 19 here and although Labour can win the wards split in 2010, Charville, Heathrow Villages, West Drayton and Yiewsley to give them 8 more seats, the Conservatives are well entrenched elsewhere and  they should retain control without any difficulty.

If the Lib Dem vote in Hillingdon East collapses in favour of Labour they have an outside chance of beating the Conservatives here.

Some parts of the borough should be favourable to UKIP but with no track record to go on it is difficult to say exactly where.
