WALSALL - prediction and result Labour gain
Labour just needs to take Walsall from NOC. Wins in Blozwich and Brownhills in 2011 and 2012 should provide two of these again this time. They should also be able to repeat the win in 2012 in Rushall-Shelfield given that it was only narrowly lost in 2011.
Labour challenges the Lib Dems in Willenhall North and Short Heath and the Independents in Darlaston South. They surprisingly lost St Matthews in 2012 after gaining the ward in 2011. So at least one of these should come off this time to give them a majority.
