  • General Election 2017 - June 8th

Following every twist, turn and headline from this election? We are offering opportunities to all budding political writers to expand their C.V by writing an article for us.

We are looking for pieces from people across the U.K about the different parties, issues, leaders and scenarios for this election.

No experience is necessary and the post is voluntary, although with only a few weeks to go, all articles would be required by 21st May at the latest.

Interested? We have a style guide below, take a look then either complete the contact form above or email the Editor direct at lorraine@britpolitics.co.uk
  • Anytime

If you have an idea for an article relating to British politics or history please send a short outline through to us with a few lines about yourself.

We want to encourage debate and the opportunities for anyone regardless of background or experience to have their work published.

We are still a growing website so these opportunities are likely to be voluntary however it can add to a C.V if you are developing a career in politics or media and we will promote you on our homepage and social media channels.
  • Contributing Writer Campaigns

Look out for our campaigns for writers throughout the year. These are advertised on our homepage and social media accounts as well as the site working for an MP (external link) Our previous campaigns have included recruiting contributing writers for the 2015 General Election and the European Referendum and national elections that took place in 2016.

  • Our House Style

Before you submit your outline please take a look at our style guide for writers it sets out what we're looking for and things to try to avoid.
